An evening of conversation with Cristina Lorenzet

Farnham Craft Town is delighted to invite the public to an engaging evening of discussion between ceramic artists Cristina Lorenzet, Farnham Craft Town’s Artist in Residence, and Jess Skelton, winner of the New Ashgate Gallery’s Rising Stars programme 2024. This special event will take place on Tuesday March 18, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Barley Room, Farnham Maltings.

In this intimate setting, the two artists will explore how location and environment shape artistic practice. Cristina will share her impressions of Farnham, renowned for its deep-rooted craft heritage, and both artists will reflect on how place influences their creative processes, materials, and themes. This discussion offers a rare opportunity to gain insight into the minds of two talented ceramicists at different stages in their careers.

Attendance is free, but booking is recommended to secure a place. A collection will be taken on the night in support of Creative Response, a Farnham-based charity providing therapeutic arts activities for people in the community experiencing mental ill-health or who are otherwise vulnerable.
