The joy of working with your hands – in conversation with Rich Miller

Join Rich Miller, potter, UCA alum, and judge on Channel 4’s The Great Pottery Throwdown, in conversation with fellow ceramicist and UCA lecturer Ashley Howard, as they discuss the joy of crafts and working with your hands.

As the closing event to Farnham’s October Craft Month, join us for an inspiring talk to celebrate the satisfaction of creating with our hands. Rich will share his experiences studying at UCA and his insights on ceramics and crafts today, which will inspire and motivate you.

Hosting the event will be Adrian Bland, a senior lecturer for crafts and design, who will kick things off with an overview of the resurgence in working with the hands.
