Farnham School of Furniture Making

The Farnham School of Furniture Making and Workshop is a creative hub for many craft mediums, with a focus on furniture making at its core.

The Workshop delivers a multitude of classes, both part-time and long-term. Our award-winning in-house trainers are individual designer makers and our specialist subjects are delivered by renowned artists, master craftsmen and -women.

Our ethos is ‘learning by making’ and visitors to our school and workshop can expect to see students’ current work, demonstrations in refined furniture making aspects, such as marquetry, carving and wood turning, and current commissions. As well as viewing our gallery where past and present students, alongside our trainer makers will be exhibiting their pieces.
