Jane Browne: Surrey Artist of the Year 2022: One Year On

Inspiration for Jane’s tapestries comes from the inter-play between natural contours and patterns of the landscape. As Surrey Artist of the Year, Jane is working on tapestries inspired by the Esso fuel pipeline cutting swathes through the landscape, from a purely artistic point of view. Jane studied at the University for the Creative Arts under the late eminent Archie Brennan.
